The Process
A conversation first
We start with a call with you, or whoever's organising it, to talk through their life and work out the questions that matter. We bring a standard framework, shaped around their actual story.
You choose the interviewer
Paul can conduct the interview himself, or a family member can — whichever feels most natural for the person being filmed. Sometimes a familiar voice draws out more than a stranger's ever could.
We come to you
We set up in your home — camera, lighting, and a genuinely beautiful background, wherever in the house feels right. Setup takes about an hour.
The interview
Up to two hours, relaxed and unhurried, guided by the questions we worked out together.
What you receive
The Foundation Package delivers the full interview, lightly edited to remove gaps and dead air — ready to watch and share with the whole family.
Going further
Beyond the interview, we can weave in historical photos, home movies, and a music score to build something closer to a keepsake film. Priced on a time-and-materials basis depending on what you'd like included — happy to talk it through.
